It seems that the new http://ifaima.blogspot.com is not working 100% so, meanwhile we keep informing you of the new events, until the new blog is operational.
As we informed you on the previous posts, during the Global AIM Congress, some meetings ocurred and we came to an agreement to sign the Convention for the creation of our Federation (Soon a PDF version of the Convention and By-Laws will be available and also a list of the countries who participated). After some discussion and voting, on our Federation By-Laws, and also voting on the name and logo, the people present on the meetings decided as follows:
The Federation is for Aeronautical Information Management Associations and for Communitations Associations.
The name shall be "International Federation of Aeronautical Information Management Associations" - "IFAIMA"
An Implementation Comission with the participation of one member from each of the following countries was created: Egypt, Indonesia, Nigeria, Portugal, Slovak Republic and Turkey.
This Implementation Commission has the sole purpose of implementing IFAIMA by means of its registration before Authorities, and publicise it with the sole purpose of obtaining new Associates to it.
A first Annual Subscription of 5€ (Five Euro) per person, shall be in force from the time of member affiliation, until otherwise decided on Assembly.
Affiliation is preferably for Associations but also a possibility of affiliation for individuals whose countries don't yet have National Associations.
For the first year of its implementation and until its first Assembly, Headquarters of IFAIMA shall be located at the office of the Portuguese Aeronautical Information and Communications Technicians Association (APTICA), whose members, together with the other members of the Implementation Comission, will perform all necessary actions for the official registration of IFAIMA before authorities.
For registration before authorities purposes, the Implementation Comission is in possession of the original copy of the Convention signed by all the people present, representing 27 countries.
About the logo, the voting was to try and make a new one, combining the two most voted logos, our friends from AISINDO will try and make this new logo, soon they will come up with results.

Sir,
We were informed by our Chief, Mr William Astrologo, in the Aeronautical Information and Communications Division here in the Philippines that we are being invited to join your organization. We have discussed some of the details and I was convinced that it is a "must" for us to join. However, I have to discuss and present this matter to our National Executive Board and to my colleagues in our meeting or in the general assembly. I will inform you about the decision of our organization as soon as possible.
