I am not quite sure, but shouldn´t it read FEDERATION? Apart from this I´ll pick the IFAIMA, simply because it´s easier to spell in one word.

Hi all,
Why not not IFAICA (International Federation of Aeronautical Information and Comunication Association)
I work in Santa Maria Oceanic Centre, here we work with 3 diferent areas which are Flight Data, AFTN (Ground/Ground Com) and Aeroneutical Radio Station (Air/Ground Com), so as you can imagine I realy would like to see Com apearing on the name. We must not forget that these two areas (AIM and COM) exist as distinct areas in many countries, but still, are part of the same group in the aeronautics.
At least thats my opinion

i'd prefer IFAIMA :) ..if we want make a union of AIS and COM .. why we still 'separate' it in the name of the organization? i suppose AIM doesn't directly mean AIS, so it doesn't mean people from COM don't included.
btw, Rui ideas is better too :)
